Our Certified Connections platform connects IBC-certified high school students with employers by showcasing student resumes, helping businesses understand the value of industry-recognized certifications, and aligning certified students with job opportunities that match their skills. Our mission is to support workforce readiness and help employers hire capable, entry-level talent prepared to contribute from Day One.

I have over 30 years of experience in workforce planning, human resources, and resource management for companies such as Wal-Mart, Deloitte, PwC, and EY. I have over 5 years of experience in HR consulting roles with mid-size construction companies, and have practical experience working with students to maximize their resumes and LinkedIn profiles. I bring a deep understanding of workforce development and talent acquisition at scale, and have seen firsthand the value of aligning the right people with the right opportunities, and how early access to career options can change a student's future.

As a long time FFA and 4-H parent, and current 4-H Club leader, I have directly supported students earning industry-recognized certifications in industry areas such as welding, floral design, food safety, and vet tech, to name a few.  My unique combination of corporate HR expertise and grassroots involvement gives me a clear view of both student potential and employer expectations. I started this service to bridge that gap and connect certified, capable young talent with employers who are ready to invest in the future of their workforce.
