Many Texas high school students graduate with more than a diploma in hand-- many leave school with certifications that can lead directly to jobs, apprenticeships, or college credit. Whether you want to start a career right away or prepare for college, industry-based certifications (IBCs) give you a head start. We help connect certified students with employers who are ready to hire, and guide families through the next steps after graduation.

An IBC is a credential you can earn in high school that shows you've gained real-world skills in a career like health care, agriculture, IT, welding, or business.
A certification can qualify you for entry-level jobs, make you more competitive for internships, and can sometimes count toward college credit or training programs.
Most Texas high schools have Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs that can include certified programs, but the options vary by district. Ask your high school counselor or teacher which certifications are available at your school.
That is absolutely ok. Certifications expand your experiences to different fields and build transferable skills. Even if you change your career path later, the experience still builds your resume and your confidence.
That's where we can help. We verify your certification, share your resume with local employers, and help match you with businesses looking for skills like yours. We can even help you with your resume, with interviewing skills, LinkedIn profiles, and more.
